Every Christian a Filmmaker (A Prayer)

O God of the Bible:

O Creator of the eye:

O Maker of the inventors of filmmaking and all filmmaking technologies:

In the past, You created Johannes Gutenberg. And Gutenberg made the printing press. And the printing press caused the proclamation of Your Word throughout the world.

O Observer of all, You have seen how Your enemies have used the medium of film, which You granted them, to preach their blasphemies to the world. You've seen how they have converted multitudes of men, women, and children to godlessness, murdering their souls.

O Hater of evil, let Your zeal for Your Name rouse You to action! Grant me my desire that I'll present to You here, for it is a prayer for Your glory! Make a new filmmaking device, by which the man most uneducated in the skill of filmmaking may make movies of the highest possible quality! Put, in every true church of the Lord Jesus Christ, this device, one for each church as a whole and one for each individual in each church! Do this in all the world, o Provider of all Your people's tools! Bring a flood of God-glorifying movies on this world, so that Your enemies' propaganda will be refuted and put to shame, and to bring in a flood of worshippers who will more than make up for the souls lost due to the spiritual carnage of ungodly films! This is my humble plea to You, o God!

O God, I BEG You to do this for Your praise throughout the world! Nay, of all creation!!!
