Thanking Christ for His Birth

O Lord Jesus Christ:

Thank you for choosing to be born into this world! For, in eternity past, You decided to become a Man (without sin and without losing Your Divine Nature) for Your people's sake.

Without You, Your people would never be saved from their sins (Matthew 1:21).

Without You, Your people would never have a righteousness by which they would be justified in Your Father's court (Romans 3:19-23).

Without You, Your people would never see Your Father (John 14:8-9).

Without You, Your people would never be conformed to Your image (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Without You, Your people would never escape the wrath of God (Romans 5:9).

Without You, Your people would never die to sin and live to God (Romans 6:11).

Without You, Your people would never be free from sin's dominion (Romans 6:14).

Without You, Your people would never be free from sin and enslaved to righteousness (Romans 6:18).

Without You, Your people would never inherit the New Heaven and New Earth (Revelation 21:1).

Without You, Your people would never inherit the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:2).

Without You, Your people would never love (1 John 4:8).

Without You, Your people would never be blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3).

Without You, Your people would never be able to call God their Father (John 1:12-13).

Without You, Your people would never escape eternal punishment (Matthew 25:46).

Without You, Your people would never enter eternal life (Matthew 25:46).

Without You, Your people would never enjoy any of the blessings You gained for them.

And who are Your people? Those who trust You (John 1:12-13; Galatians 5:6; 1 Corinthians 8:3; Matthew 7:21-27).
