*Movies are ways to help people see God. Movies aren't to visually represent God Himself, which would be idolatry (Deuteronomy 4:15-19). No, but rather movies help people see God in His Attributes as those Attributes are reflected in His creation (Psalm 19:1-6; Acts 14:15-17; Romans 1:19-20).
*Christian filmmaking is a way of making godly examples for Christians to follow (John 13:15; 1 Timothy 4:12; James 5:10; 1 Peter 2:21).
*Christian films are the Word of God visualized.
*While Christian films give godly examples for people to follow, secular films give godless examples for people to follow.
*What is the definition of a Christian film? When Christian is used as a noun, it means a follower of Christ. So, what does a movie do if it's a "follower of Christ?" It reflects Christ, like the Christian person reflects Christ.
*Since secular (or similar adjectives: godless, atheistic, etc.) means nonreligious (i.e. non-Christian), secular films are films that negate Christ, and therefore His Attributes.
*When watching films, Christians need to live in God's Word by faith so that they'll develop the skills to distinguish between Christian elements in films and godless elements in films (John 8:31-32; Hebrews 5:12-14).
*These principles regarding films apply to all other forms of entertainment.
*God is the Giver of all good gifts (James 1:17). So, for all good films ("good" by Biblical definition-Mark 10:18), we are to thank God.
*All evil films ("evil" by Biblical definition-1 John 3:4) are works of Satan (John 8:44).
*We should embrace all the good in films and reject all the bad in films (Romans 12:9).
*True films are films that Biblically represent God.
*False films are films that unbiblically represent God.
