Saving A Bullied Boy

O God of the Bible,

O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,

O my God by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ,

You are the Defender of those who trust in You (Psalm 31:2).

Your Defendership can be illustrated thus: in a school hallway, a high-school boy is bullying an elementary-school boy. At this time, You cause another high-school boy to walk through the hallway. At first, this other boy, out of his carnal heart's desire for self-preservation, decides to just walk away. However, You suddenly fill his heart with the desire and courage to defend and save the little boy. So, he approaches the bully and threatens to report him to the high-school principal unless he leaves the little boy alone. You strike the bully's heart with fear, causing him to run away. The other high-school boy leaves shortly after. The little boy then bows to the ground, with his heart toward You, and thanks You and praises You for delivering him from the bully.
