Parable of a Lazy Christian Man and God's Mercy to Him

A Christian man conceived many plans to serve Christ in his mind. However, he gave in to laziness, and so he did nothing about his plans. Consequently, God chastised him with a fatal illness. The man, convicted that he didn't render to God the thankful service He deserved, cried out to God for mercy, so that he would accomplish his plans so God would be served and glorified. God heard his prayer, and the man, by faith, carried out his plans, going home to Christ's presence after a fulfilled life.
