Note: Whenever I use "man" or "men" here, I mean mankind, both male and female (Genesis 1:26-27, 5:1-2).

In one of my posts, I talked about God's work in laundry, along with how Christians can work for God in laundry. In this post, I want to do the same for kitchen-work. However, I'll talk about it here in a different style from my laundry-work post. That different way is going bulletpoint-by-bulletpoint on 1) God's work in kitchen-work and 2) the corresponding fact of how He works this task through man.

* 1) God cools foods and drinks to keep them edible. 2) Men put their foods and drinks in refrigerators, freezers, coolers, etc. to keep them cold, and therefore edible.

*1) God cooks food so it is ready to eat. 2) Men cook their food in ovens, stoves, microwaves, etc. so it's ready to eat.

*1) God cleanses dishes so they're reusable. 2) Men wash their dishes in sinks, dishwashing machines, etc. to keep them usable.

*1) God supplies ingredients to make meals. 2) Men gather ingredients to make meals with.[1]

*1) God supplies ingredients to make special drinks. 2) Men gather ingredients to make special drinks with.

Christian, these are only some of the ways that God works in kitchen-work and how you can serve God in kitchen-work. By faith in Christ, use these facts to see God in kitchen-work and glorify God in the kitchen-work you do!

[1] I did use "dishes" here previously, but I thought that would be confusing, given the preceding bulletpoint. My mother suggested "meals" instead, so I want to give her credit here.
