O God of the Bible,
O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
O my God by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ,
You have infinite and all strength. Because of Your infinite and total strength, You are the One who determines the victors of all conflicts.
Your sovereignty over struggles can be illustrated through this humble example: there is a lone little boy at recess during winter. He walks on a dry, gravel ground all the way to a big and imposing snow fort, which is manned by a gang of bullies. The little boy, desiring to defeat them for the sake of his bullied classmates, challenges the gang to a snowball fight, in which every person who is hit with a snowball once loses. The gang accepts the challenge. Through toy weapons hooked up to the snow fort, the bullies assault the little boy with a barrage of snowballs. The little boy is able to avoid all of them though. As he is skillfully avoiding all shots, the little boy infiltrates the fort, overcomes the bullies, and seizes their weapons, turning their weapons on them. Upon striking all the bullies with snowballs, the little boy deliberately overuses the weapons to drain the fort of all its snow, destroying it. The destruction sends the bullies fleeing in terror. The little boy thus wins the fight.
Why and how did the little boy win? Because You, o God, gave the word for him to win, and it happened. Such is Your power!
