God is the Rescuer of the Endangered

O God of the Bible,

O Rescuer,

You deliver people from their dangers. Not because of any good thing of theirs, but simply because of Your free will.

An example is this: one night, in a city, a man is walking home from work. As he walks, a gang of thugs jumps out of an alley. The man runs away with all his strength, the gang at his heels. Eventually, the man is cornered. He cries out "God, save me!" Immediately, heart attacks strike each and every one of the gang members, killing them. When he processes what's happened, the man resumes his walk, praising God all the way.
