O God of the Bible,
O my God by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ,
You have redeemed both men and women from the bondage of sin, transforming them from sinners[1] to God-lovers. You have rescued them from the kingdom of Satan and made them subjects of the Kingdom of God instead. This You have done for all who trust You only.
O Christ, You’ve made men and women one people in You. You’ve made us brothers and sisters to each other. You’ve made us Your family. O King, You’ve given, in Your Word’s “one another” commands, Your laws of brother-sister relationships to us, Your church.
O Father, You’ve begotten men and women as Your children, making us brothers and sisters to each other. You’ve given us our bond. You love us as Your sons and daughters. You are the Head of the godly family, as a father is the head of his household. You, only because You freely chose to, adopted us as Your sons and daughters.
O Spirit, You’ve regenerated men and women. You make us love each other as brothers and sisters. You make us love the Father as His sons and daughters. You make us trust and love Christ as our Lord and Savior. You are the Source of our brotherly love to each other.
[1] “Sinners” here means those who are on the side of sin and therefore against God.
