O Lord Jesus Christ:

O God the Son, who took on human nature minus sin:

People talk about the distinct categories of Law and Gospel. You are both the Law and the Gospel for the Christian, the one who trusts and loves You only.

You are the Christian's Law. Your commands are the Law by which the Christian lives his life.

You are the Christian's Gospel. You are the Good News of salvation that the Christian trusts unto his own salvation.

O Christ, by faith in You, I will embrace Your commands as my Law and embrace You as my Salvation!
