Christian students, especially Christian college students, face the challenge of busyness. This busyness threatens to make their schoolwork their primary focus instead of Christ. In this post, I want to offer some advice to my brethren who face such busyness. I want them to know how they can not only prevent their busyness from obstructing their God-centeredness but make their busyness center their hearts on God and His Word.
When I was in college, an older brother in the Lord pointed me to the first half of Psalm 19 (i.e. the first 6 verses). His point was that my education was to help me understand God's general revelation (i.e. His revelation of Himself in creation).
What's the point of sharing this insight? Since God is the Creator of all things, He is, by implication, the Creator of all subjects. A subject is a thing as it is being studied, so that's why the fact that God created all things also means He created all subjects.
So, put on the glasses of God's Word[1] and thereby see God Himself in the subjects you study!
