A Way to See Jesus in the Old Testament

As of my writing this article, I have made it to the 22:53 mark of John Piper's sermon "If You Believed Moses, You Would Believe Me, for He Wrote of Me" (here is the link to the sermon: https://www.desiringgod.org/messages/if-you-believed-moses-you-would-believe-me-for-he-wrote-of-me). And, based on what I've heard Mr. Piper say, I want to describe a way to see Christ in the Old Testament. But, before I do, I want to clarify that this post is NOT an endorsement of John Piper; I was just inspired to make a post where I present a way to see Jesus in the Old Testament, a way that I learned from Mr. Piper's sermon, and so I want to give credit to Mr. Piper. So, with that disclaimer made, here is that way to see Jesus in the Old Testament!
Obviously, Jesus Christ is God (John 1:1-18). So, He is Yahweh, the God of the Old Testament (John 8:51-59). Therefore, when we see Yahweh in the Old Testament, we see Jesus, unless the context of a passage specifies that another Person of the Trinity is being referred to. This is how we can, legitimately, see the Lord Jesus Christ in the Old Testament!
