How Christians can Overcome All Obstacles

Years ago, I came across a YouTube video that, to this day, I've enjoyed watching. The video's message, when adapted to fit a Biblical/Christian worldview, can be enlightening and inspiring to Christians. The video is one where a guy covers the "philosophy" of Bugs Bunny, which is the approach to life of the famous cartoon rabbit, who uses his wit to overcome all the obstacles he faces in his life. And it is that Christian take on the video's message that I want to cover in this article! While those who don't savingly believe on Christ, who are people of this world (1 John 2:15-17), may achieve things they want through their wits when their wits (which God has gifted them with) are sufficient to overcome the obstacles to their desires, they eventually discover some limit. Whether it's people who oppose them being wiser than they are, physical laws, or any other means by which God limits their success, they will face limits and, consequently, be frustrated in their plans. Yet the Christian has a literally INFINITELY greater power by which they can and do overcome the obstacles in their lives! And a necessary brief sidenote: for the Christian, "obstacles" are, by definition, whatever stands in the way between them and God's desires (which He reveals in His Word) being fulfilled in their lives [2], God's desires becoming their own desires as they, by faith, become conformed to Christ's character. Instead of relying on their own wits, which are not intrinsic to them anyway, Christians rely on God, who reveals Himself in His Word (i.e. the Bible). And, because of God's attributes, Christians trust in literal omnipotence, omniscience, and omnibenevolence! Also, because there are no wits greater than that of Wisdom Himself, the Christian need never fear his Help being outwitted!

I pray this will be a blessing to every child of God who needs it! And, if you are not a child of God or doubt you are a child of God, then repent (change your mind and heart) and put your trust only in Jesus Christ, whom the Holy Spirit reveals in the pages of God's Word! You will then be granted the RIGHT to become God's son or daughter (John 1:12-13)!
