A Prayer for the Lost

O God my Father:

By faith in Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, I cry to You:

You've opened my eyes! I see that I can't save the lost! Only You can!

Only You can beget men again unto eternal life! Only You can open the eyes of the blind, so they see You! Only You can bring men out of the darkness of godlessness into the light of Your Son! Only You can turn man's heart of stone into a heart of flesh! Only You can take out the heart of sin and replace it with a heart of faith! Only You can make a subject of Satan's kingdom a subject of Your Kingdom! Only You can turn an enemy of God into a believer of God! Only You can turn a hater of God into a lover of God!

O God, if You will, please grant all my evangelistic work this saving power, so that it may result in a harvest of worshippers for You!
