Christianity is, in one aspect, a worldview (i.e. a view of all things).
Consequently, there is also a Christian social theory. Now, the term "theory" may sound impractical and academic. However, by "theory," I simply mean "thought." So, a theory is how and what you think about something. Going further, a "social theory" is how and what one thinks about relationships. Then, there is the term "Christian," which means "having the character of Christ" as an adjective. So, "Christian social theory" is Christ's thoughts about relationships.
Being the Creator of the universe, Christ determines, and therefore knows, what is best for His creation. And that includes determining and knowing what is best for relationships.
One of the reasons Christianity clashes with unbiblical worldviews (and pseudo-Christian worldviews) is that Christ, through the Word of God, gives Christians a social theory that fundamentally contradicts and clashes with social theories that sin, through the hearts of sinful humanity, forms as rivals to Christian social theory.
So, we need to think through how God, through the Bible, answers questions like these:
*What does God say human beings are?
*What does God say the nature of human relationships is?
*How did God originate human relationships?
*What are God's purposes for human relationships?
*What are God's commands for human relationships?
As we develop Biblical answers to these questions, we will be developing a Christian social theory.
