Christ's Courage as Manifested in a Firefly Family (A Flash-Fiction Story)

One night, a family of fireflies is flying around a human family’s campfire. While the fireflies are flying, the humans capture the firefly who’s the little sister in the family. The human family drives away with the little sister.

The rest of the firefly family chases the human family as the latter is driving away in their car.

The fireflies reach the humans’ house. There, they infiltrate the house, free the little sister, and narrowly escape the humans, who wake up right when the little sister is freed.

Back at their home, the fireflies celebrate the little sister’s rescue with a feast.
